GATE 2023 Notification: The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur announces the modifications for GATE 2023 introduced this year. The exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission in PG engineering courses. Candidates can also use GATE exam scores for PSU recruitments. The students can log in to the official website and learn about the changes.
GATE 2023 Application Fee
The GATE fee has been increased for all category candidates from this year. IIT Kanpur has raised the fee for female candidates by INR 100, for SC/ST PwD by INR 100 and for remaining candidates by INR 2000. The revised fee structure is as follows.

GATE 2023 Exam Dates

GATE 2023 Exam Timings
The GATE exam is conducted in two shifts on all days. The previous year, the shift 1 GATE exam was conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM and shift 2 from 2 to 5 PM. After the new guidelines, the timings have changed to 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM for shift 1 and 2:30 to 5:30 PM for shift 2.
GATE 2023 Exam Centers
IIT Kanpur has decreased GATE 2023 exam cities this year. GATE 2023 exam centers are decreased in all the zones except IITB. For more information, candidates can refer to the table below.
