GUJCET 2022 to be Held on 18 April; Check Details Here

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will conduct the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) on 18 April 2022. The authorities have recently announced the date on its official website – gsebeservice.com. Additionally, the exam timings are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 

About GUJCET 2022 

GUSEB conducts GUJCET every year for students aspiring to take admission in engineering, diploma, and pharmacy courses offered by universities in Gujarat. Furthermore, the exam consists of three papers for four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. There is one paper for Physics and Chemistry, and candidates have 120 minutes to complete this section. The remaining two papers are Mathematics and Biology, each with a time limit of 60 minutes.

The paper consists entirely of multiple choice questions, and students must fill in the OMR sheet to mark their answers. In addition, candidates receive 1 mark for every correct answer, while 0.25 points are deducted for every incorrect answer. Also, the exam is held in offline pen-paper-based mode. Lastly, the syllabus for the exam is the same as the curriculum of class 11th and 12th, so students must prepare well from their course books themselves. 

Candidates must also know about the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the GUJCET 2022 exam.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must have passed class 12th from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or from any recognized board. 
• The candidate must have a domicile of Gujarat. Candidates who are native citizens of Gujarat but living in other states are also eligible for the exam.
• The minimum qualifying marks for General category candidates are 45% and for reserved categories is 40%.
