IGNOU Admission 2023: PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication Launched in 3 Indian Languages

IGNOU Admission 2023: The School of Journalism and New Media Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), has recently launched the PG diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication for IGNOU PG admission 2023. The program has been launched online in three languages, English, Hindi, and Tamil, through IGNOU admission 2023.

Therefore, interested candidates must apply at the IGNOU 2023 admission portal for online programs on the official website.

The IGNOU vice-chancellor, professor Nageshwar Rao and Professor G Ravindran, Head, graced the occasion of the virtual launch of the program by the IGNOU, Department of Journalism and Communication, Central University of Tamil Nadu.

Subsequently, speaking on occasion, IGNOU vice-chancellor Professor Nageshwar Rao said that "the school is making significant strides towards fulfillment of National Education Policy (NEP) goals through its skill-oriented and employment-centric programs." In addition, he said that "IGNOU has shown significant achievement, especially in the pandemic times, and the efforts of the team at the School are laudable."

Additionally, Professor Anand Pradhan from the Department of Indian Language Journalism, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), and Professor Umesh Arya, Dean and Former director of the Faculty of Media Studies, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, were also present during the event.

Note that the event was joined by the heads of Schools, divisions, centers, and units at the headquarters and regional directors from across the country. Moreover, it saw the virtual participation of students and the general audience interested to know more about IGNOU admission 2023.

Candidates must remember that the eligibility criteria for the IGNOU journalism program 2023 and mass communication program are a bachelor's degree in any discipline. The duration of the program is one year. Furthermore, the fee for IGNOU admission 2023 is Rs 12,500.
