IGNOU TEE June 2021 Examination Schedule Published

Indira Gandhi National Open University, or IGNOU, has published the TEE June 2021 session exam schedule. Hence, important dates for UG, PG, Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma, Certificate, and Post Graduate Certificate programmes are now available online. Thus, interested candidates can refer to the schedule on the official website (ignou.ac.in). Earlier, the university announced that the intermediate assessments for the UG and PG courses were postponed. Hence, examinations will only occur for final year or final semester Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Diploma programme students. This extension was due to constraints caused by the resurgence of COVID-19 within the country.

The end term exams for the IGNOU June Session will occur from 3 August to 9 September 2021. Thus, authorities will conduct the exam within two phases – first from 10 AM to 1 PM, the second phase from 2 to 5 PM. However, the exact duration for each exam will depend on the subject. For specific courses, the paper will feature objective or OMR-type questions.

The university will offer candidates who cannot appear for end-term exams in August another chance to write assessments in December 2021. Thus, authorities have extended the validity of the registration window for the June session until December.

IGNOU TEE June Exam Guidelines Amid COVID-19

The board authorities have stated that examinations will happen under strict adherence to the government-issued COVID-19 safety measures. Thus, invigilators will enforce social distancing guidelines and other rules at the exam centres.

Additionally, university representatives have stated that some students might not write the June exams at their preferred testing location. This inconvenience is due to the COVID-19 resurgence, and the board will attempt to accommodate such students in a nearby testing location. The examination centre will appear on the candidate’s hall ticket.

IGNOU July 2021 Admissions Process

The college has also begun the admissions process for the July 2021 academic sessions. Additionally, the admissions process will be wholly virtual. Thus, candidates interested in any online ODL (Open Distance Learning) course can apply online. Students can register for admissions on the IGNOU Samarth portal (ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in). Moreover, the July admission application deadline is 15 July 2021.
