IIM Bangalore Adds New Exam City Centres for CAT Exam 2022 – Check Eligibility Criteria to Apply
IIM Bangalore has announced the addition of a new exam city for the CAT 2022 Exam. CAT 2022 Registration is open on the official website.
CAT Exam 2022: IIM Bangalore has announced the addition of a new exam city for the CAT 2022 Exam. The new city that has been added is Imphal, Manipur. Till now, there were 150 text centres for CAT Exam 2022. With the addition of Imphal, the total number of test centres will rise to 151. Candidates can apply now for CAT 2022 on the official website: iimcat.ac.in.
Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 is the pathway to admission to graduate management programs at various institutes, including the Indian Institute of Management(IIMs).The registration deadline for CAT Exam 2022 has been extended to 5 PM on 21 September from 14 September. Candidate can set their preferences for the test city during the application process. Candidates can select up to 6 test cities in order of their preference. Further, the test city will be mentioned on the CAT 2022 Admit card once released. The CAT 2022 Exam Date is 27 November.

Eligibility Criteria CAT Exam 2022
Candidates must confirm that they qualify the eligibility criteria of CAT Exam 2022 before applying:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA and 45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Those who are appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification or awaiting the result can also apply.
- Professional degree such as CA/CS/ICWA/FCAI, with the required percentage is also acceptable.
Furthermore, candidates must upload scanned copies of necessary documents while applying. The authorities will reject their applications if the candidate fails to upload the documents. The documents that should be uploaded include:
- Photograph of the candidate(1200 pixels x 1200 pixels JPG/JPEG file of size <80kb)
- Signature of the Candidate(80mm X 35mm JPG/JPEG file of size <80kb)
- Marksheets of Class 10, 12 examinations, bachelor’s degree/ master’s degree, diploma and others
- Work experience documents(Note: Only full-time work experience will be considered)
- Category certificate(if applicable)
- PwD certificate(if applicable)
