IIT JAM 2022 Second Admission List Released – Check Details Here

The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Roorkee, has released the IIT JAM 2022 second admission list today, 14 June. Registered candidates can check their status by logging in to the candidate portal using their Enrollment ID/ Email ID and Password. The admission list is available on the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) portal.

Earlier, the second admission list was expected to release on 16 June, but it was preponed by 2 days. Candidates can make the payment for the admission acceptance fee until June 20, 5 pm. IIT Roorkee announced, “If a candidate fails to deposit Seat Booking Fee within the deadline, the offer will remain cancelled, and such candidate will not be considered for further admission process.” The window for accessing the withdrawal option will take place from 25 June to 30 June.

Steps to Check the IIT JAM 2022 Second Admission List

Mentioned below are the steps to check the IIT JAM admission list:

1. Visit the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) portal- joaps.iitr.ac.in.
2. Now, enter your Enrollment ID/ Email ID and password.
3. Additionally, enter the result and “Submit’.
4. Finally, the next page will display the admission list on the screen; check it and take a printout.

IIT JAM 2022 Seat Booking Options

Candidates can select any of the following options, as per preference, after checking their results-

• Accept & Freeze
• Accept & Upgrade
• Reject & Quit

The seat booking fee for general and reserved category candidates is INR 10,000 and INR 5,000, respectively. Candidates can pay the fee online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The admission fee will be transferred directly to the bank account of the college alloted to the student. 

The IIT JAM 2022 third admission list will be released on 25 June, whereas students can pay the admission fee for round 3 till 30 June. There will be a total of four rounds of admission for the IIT JAM 2022, and the process will conclude on 11 July.
