The detailed step-by-step process to register for the IIT JAM 2024 Application has been given below:

1. Visit the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.
2. Click on the 'Register' link available on the home page.
3. Enter your details, like your name, email address, and mobile number, to complete the registration process.
4. Come back to the home page, and click on the 'Login' link available.
5. Start filling out the IIT JAM 2024 Registration form.
6. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents, which follow the guidelines set by IITM.
7. Pay the necessary application fee, as per the category of the candidate.
8. Submit the Joint Admission Test for Masters 2024 application form.

After the registration process has ended, the organization will issue the admit cards for the examination on Jan 08, 2024. The JAM Exam 2024 is scheduled on Feb 11, 2024.
