IRMS Exam 2023 And Civil Service Exam to Be Held Separately: Check Exam Pattern, Subjects

IRMS Exam 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that it will conduct a separate exam for Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) starting this year. The IRMS exam was constituted in 2022, and the first official notification regarding its recruitment through the Civil Service Examination 2022 was released on Feb 17, 2022. For the first time, the 150 IRMS vacancies we included in the recruitment of UPSC Civil Service Exam 2022. 

The IRMS 2023 exam will have three stages: Prelims, Main Exam (written) and Main Exam (Interview). Only those eligible candidates who qualify the UPSC prelims exam will be screened and selected for the IRMS Main Exam (written). The interview phase of the IRMS Main Exam will follow the written exam.

IRMS Exam 2023: Exam Pattern for Written Test

The IRMS Exam 2023 Written Test will be for 500 marks. The interview phase that will follow will be for 100 marks.
