ISRO Confirms Chandrayaan 3 Moon Landing Time: Historic 1st Lunar South Landing By Space Agency
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has confirmed the Chandrayaan 3 landing time. The landing will take place at 6.04 PM today, Aug 23.
Chandrayaan 3 Moon Landing: The countdown has begun for the historic Chandrayaan 3 landing at the south pole of the moon today, Aug 23. According to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Chandrayaan 3 Lander Module will land on the moon tonight at 6:04 PM.
According to the latest news, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will also telecast the Chandrayaan 3 moon landing on NASA TV. If ISRO succeeds in landing on the lunar surface safely, India will become the fourth nation to successfully land on the moon after the USA, China, and Russia.

Chandrayaan 3 module has already shared the images of the moon captured by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) from an altitude of about 70 km, on Aug 19 and 20. ISRO is confident that the landing is on schedule and the live telecast of the Chandrayaan 3 moon landing will commence at 5:20 PM today at various platforms. The moon landing will also be telecasted on Doordarshan National TV.
Adding to the historical events, Russia wishes India great success in its mission and hopes India becomes the first country to land on the lunar south pole.
