JEE Advanced 2021 Examinations Will Take Place On 3 October
IIT Kharagpur authorities have published the JEE Advanced 2021 exam schedule. According to the timetable, JEE Advanced exam is to be held on 3 October.
IIT Kharagpur authorities have published the JEE Advanced 2021 exam schedule on their official website (jeeadv.ac.in). According to the timetable, the assessment will occur on 3 October 2021. Earlier, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the finalised examination date at a press conference.
The assessment will feature two separate examination papers, divided by syllabus and examination format. Hence, these papers will take place in two separate exam sessions. First, students will write paper one of the JEE Advanced from 9 AM to 12 PM. Then, after a lunch break, paper two will occur from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Earlier, the board had scheduled the assessment to occur on 25 June 2021. It was initially postponed until 3 July 2021. However, IIT Kharagpur officials deferred the entrance exam for a second time soon afterwards due to high COVID-19 risk levels.
There have been several updates to the guidelines regarding the assessment. Exam officials have lowered the academic eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced. Thus, students no longer need a 75% minimum board exam aggregate score to write the examination. In addition, the board will not allow students to write the JEE Advanced exam more than twice per year.
JEE Advanced 2021 facilitates admissions to undergraduate and integrated masters in Engineering, Science and Architecture programmes offered by IITs throughout the country. Due to the JEE Advanced exam taking place during the pandemic, authorities will ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines.
