JEE Main 2023: NTA to Adopt Different Marking Scheme for BTech, BArch, and BPlanning Papers
NTA will adopt a different marking scheme for BTech, BArch, and BPlanning Papers of JEE main 2023. The JEE main 2023 session 1 is scheduled to be held on Jan 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023.
JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the first session of JEE main 2023 exam on Jan 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023. Meanwhile, the authorities will soon publish the JEE main admit card 2023 on the official website.

NTA has published the information brochure for JEE main 2023, which consist of the JEE main marking scheme 2023 for paper 1 (BE, BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlanning). Following are the details on the JEE main 2023 marking scheme for MCQ and numerical value type
- Candidates will be awarded +4 and -1 marks for every correct and incorrect answer, respectively.
- No marks will be deducted on unanswered or marked-for-review questions.
- In case of more than one correct option, +4 marks will be awarded to all those who have marked any of the correct options. Also, if all the options are found correct, +4 marks will be awarded to all those candidates who attempted.
- +4 marks will be awarded to those who answer a question that is incorrect due to human error or technical error.
- Candidates are advised to use constants provided (if any) for numerical value-type questions.
