JEE Main Paper Analysis 2023: The NTA conducted the JEE Main 2023 session 1 Jan 24 shift 1 exam from 9 AM to 12 noon today. This is the first day of the session one exam, conducted at exam centres spread across various cities in India in CBT mode. The JEE Main Paper Analysis 2023 for Jan 24 shift 1 paper is now available.
The JEE Main Question Paper 2023 will consist of 3 sections for three subjects, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, each with equal weightage. Each section will have two subsections, sections A and B, the former consisting of 20 MCQs and the latter consisting of 10 questions whose answers are to be given as a numerical value. Each correct answer will earn the candidate four marks, and each incorrect answer will result in 1 mark being deducted.

JEE Main 2023 Jan 24 Shift 1: Student Reactions
The JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Jan 24 Shift 1 exam has been concluded. The student's reactions to the question paper were as follows:
- The Mathematics section was lengthy. The calculations involved were a bit tricky.
- The physics section was found to be moderately easy.
- The chemistry section had many questions directly sourced from the NCERT text books. Moreover, the majority of the questions were from the inorganic chemistry topics.
- The organic chemistry questions from the chemistry section contianed numerical question, while some of the physical chemistry questions were integer based.
- Many straight forward formula based questions appeared in the physics section
- Several questions in the mathematics sections were from the 3D geometry chapters
- In the mathematics section, the NAT questions were lengthy and the MCQs were moderately so.
