JoSAA Counselling 2023: Option to Upgrade Branch Disabled By Top IITs and NITs

JoSAA Counselling 2023: Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and National Institute of Technology officials have disabled the option to upgrade branches. Interested candidates who are participating in the JoSAA Counselling 2023 process must check the official website for regular updates.

The JoSAA counselling registration commenced on Jun 19, 2023. The last date to fill out the JoSAA 2023 Counselling registration form is Jun 28, 2023. Moreover, with the IITs, about 12 NITs have dropped the option to update the branch.

Steps to Register for JoSAA Counselling 2023

Candidates must follow the step-by-step procedure below to register for JoSAA counselling 2023.

1. First, visit the official website of JoSAA.
2. Once on the homepage, click on the "JoSAA 2023 Counselling" link.
3. Next, enter the registered login credentials; application/registration number.
4. After that, upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
5. Finally, pay the JoSAA application fee.
6. Last, save and download the JoSAA registration form and take a hard copy for future reference.

Note that the candidates must apply for JoSAA counselling 2023 process to seek admission into IIT, NIT, IEST, Shibpur, IISER, IIIT and CFTI all across the country. Additionally, students must participate in the counselling process within the scheduled time, as the authorities do not plan on any extensions.
