KCET 2021 Counselling Document Verification Deadline Postponed
The Karnataka Examination Authority has extended the KCET 2021 admissions counselling document verification window to 30 October.
The Karnataka Examination Authority has extended the KCET 2021 admissions counselling document verification window. Therefore, counselling participants can now verify their documents by 30 October 2021. The verification facility is available to all eligible offline at affiliated helpline locations throughout the state. The board will only allot seats to candidates with validated documentation. Applicants can view verification locations and further details on the board’s official website, kea.kar.nic.in.
Additionally, the board will release a detailed counselling schedule online shortly after the conclusion of the verification process. After validation, participants must complete procedures such as choice filling, seat allocation, and reporting to allotted institutes for admission confirmation. The KEA conducted the Karnataka Common Entrance Test in an offline pen and paper-based testing mode on 28 and 29 August 2021.
Documents Required for KCET 2021 Counselling Verification Process
All candidates must carry physical and legible physical copies of the following documents for the verification process. Hence, candidates can refer to the list provided below regarding important documents.
- KCET 2021 registration form
- Application fee payment proof (receipt)
- KCET 2021 examination hall ticket
- Class 10 and 12 scorecards
- Two recently-taken passport-sized photographs
- Study certification countersigned by the relevant BEO/DDPI
In addition, certain candidates should have the following documents on hand, if applicable.
- Kannada medium certificate
- Rural study certification
- Caste-related documents (for students claiming caste-related scholarships)
- Necessary documentation (for students claiming government seat eligibility due to their parent’s domicile, study, or employment)
- Affidavit regarding first language (for applicants claiming scholarship under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga mother tongue clauses C and D)
