KCET Option Entry 2022: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced that the KCET option entry 2022 facility will be closed on Oct 19. Candidate who completed the previous stages of the counselling process must perform the option entry to be considered for seat allotment. To fill in their choices for colleges and courses before the deadline, candidates can visit the official website: kea.kar.nic.in

Steps to Perform the KCET Option Entry 2022
Candidates may follow the steps given below to complete the KCET Option Entry 2022 process:
- Visit the official website of the KEA: kea.kar.nic.in
- Go to the Latest Announcements section on the homepage
- Click on the '14-10 UGCET 2022 First round option entry link.'
- Enter the candidate's CET Number and the given captcha to log in.
- Fill out the choices for courses and colleges in the preferential order.
- Once the options are finalized, click on 'Save and Submit.'
Further, the KCET Mock Seat Allotment 2022 result, based on the options entered by the candidates, will be released on Oct 21. The purpose of the mock allotment is to give the candidates an idea of which college they will be allotted. Subsequently, the window to edit or rearrange the already entered options will open until Oct 26. Candidates who successfully complete the KCET Option Entry 2022 process will be considered for the seat allotment. The KCET Counselling 2022 Round 1 Seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on Oct 28. Additionally, the round-wise cutoff list, which will contain the minimum marks required by candidates to be considered for allotment at a particular college, will also be released.
