KEAM 2021 Examination Day Guidelines Released

The Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (Kerala CEE) has released the KEAM 2021 examination day guidelines online. These mandates provide strict instructions regarding conduct during the exam. Hence, students writing the KEAM 2021 exam on 5 August can go through the assessment regulations below. Additionally, due to exams taking place during the pandemic, the guidelines include government-mandated safety directives. Thus, all participants during the examination process must strictly adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines. These people include candidates, parents, and officials on the day of the exam.

KEAM 2021 Candidate Guidelines

The KEAM 2021 exam is a pen and paper-based in-person assessment. Hence, candidates must follow social distancing norms, wear masks at all times, and agree to thermal screening procedures. Therefore, students with higher body temperatures or who are ill must follow the safety instructions of the pertinent official.

Also, candidates who are COVID-positive or under quarantine must contact the CEE representative given on the exam admit card at least one day before the exam. The exam board will allow such students to write the exam in a specially assigned room under strict protocols. In addition, these candidates must only travel to the venue in the vehicles specifically arranged by the exam board.

Officials will not allow aspirants re-entry to the exam centre during the assessment process. Thus, candidates should carry essential items such as glasses or writing implements on hand for the person. In addition, students who will also write KEAM 2021 during the noon and afternoon examination slots must carry drinking water and food.

Parents or guardians of students will not obtain entry to the testing venue. Moreover, when dropping off candidates, parents must leave the premises immediately to avoid traffic issues. After the exam, candidates should walk to a safe place away from the venue gate to be picked up. Officials will not allow crowds to form in front of the venue or the parking of vehicles, which could hinder traffic. Any violation of the aforementioned social distancing guidelines can result in consequences such as disqualification.
