Maharashtra Board to Conduct the HSC & SSC Exams in March-April 2022
Maharashtra board is all set to conduct HSC and SSC 2022 exams offline in March-April 2022 in various exam centres across the state.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is set to conduct the HSC and SSC exams offline in March-April 2022. The exams will be conducted in various exam centres across the state. Officials will conduct the exam for class 12th (HSC) students between 4 March and 7 April 2022. Later, they will conduct exams for class 10th (SSC) students between 15 March and 18 April.
Previously, considering the Covid-19 situation around the state, the Maharashtra state board had reduced HSC and SSC exams syllabus by 25 per cent. Authorities will conduct practical exams and internal assessments of HSC students from 14 February to 3 March 2022. Later, they will conduct these exams for SSC students from 25 February to 14 March. The authorities will release the detailed timetable for these exams later as per the official notice.

“Written exams of Std 12th (HSC) will be held offline from 4 March 2022 to 07 April 2022 & those of Std 10th (SSC) will be held offline from 15 March 2022 to 18 April 2022. Due to COVID-19, the curriculum was earlier cut by 25%. Therefore, the questions will only be from this reduced syllabus,” Ms Gaikwad tweeted.
“All exams would be conducted in compliance with COVID-19 safety norms,” Ms Gaikwad said. She also said that the government will try to release the HSC results by the second week of June 2022. Afterwards, they will release the SSC results by the second week of July 2022.
Furthermore, Ms Gaikwad added that “To ensure a conducive environment for the students, we held a series of consultations with schools, principals, headmasters, teachers & experts regarding the assessment mode & exam schedule. Their suggestions were incorporated”.
