The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Maharashtra Class 12 (HSC) 2022 Results today, June 8. The State Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad, took to Twitter to affirm the news. The Maharashtra HSC 2022 results will be available online at 1 PM on the official website, mahresult.nic.in. However, the announcement will first be made at a press conference chaired by the education minister.

Passing Rate
Initial reports suggest that most of the participating students have passed the exams. Approximately 13,56,604 students have passed, with more than 10,000 achieving 90% or higher. Like most other states, the girls have outperformed the boys, even in Maharashtra. More than 95% of the girls passed, while 93% of the boys managed to pass. Results Declared But No Toppers’ List
The MSBSHSE has now announced the results. Nonetheless, students can check it only after 1 PM. Over ten thousand students have achieved 90% or higher. It is a remarkable feat. The Board has also dismissed the tradition of publishing the toppers’ list this year. Individual students can check their scores and proceed with their college plans accordingly. This year the Board has decided not to publish the toppers’ list.

Criteria For Passing & Provision of Grace Marks
Most students must be aware; however, for those who are not, the passing marks for each subject is 35/100. Students have to secure a minimum of 35 in each paper, but their overall percentage should also equal 35%. Any participant who did not achieve the minimum of 35 will have to apply and appear for the particular supplementary paper. The supplementary exams are in July-August this year. It will help students pass their board exams this year without repeating a year.
In addition, the Board will grant students the benefit of grace marks. As goodwill, any student who fails in 1 subject is eligible for 3 grace marks. Further, if a candidate fails in 2 subjects, they will receive 5 marks as grace for the second subject. Additionally, if they fail in 3 subjects, they can get 8 grace marks for the third. As a result, the Board has declared a total of 15 marks as provisional grace marks for each student.

As per reports, 14,85,191 students registered for the Maharashtra HSC 2022 exams. Be that as it may, the number of male applicants includes – 8,17,188. On the other hand, 6,67,003 were female students. Nagpur, however, was the district with the highest number of participants. A total of 3,07,578 students appeared for the MSBSHSE 2022.
