NEET Counselling Seat Matrix: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has introduced changes to the seat allocation process for NEET UG and NEET PG Counselling. The organization has decided to take measures to bring transparency in medical admissions in India.
The organization has stated that the seats under the NEET UG Counselling and NEET PG Counselling from 2024 onwards will be updated by the following authorities: the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the State Counselling Committee (SCC) for the respective state.
The NMC had taken this decision due to some recent incidents. The NMC has announced that the MARB has not released any permission letter to the Meenakshi Medical College, Kanchipuram, the Santhiram Medical College, Kurnool and the GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry, for any renewal and addition of NEET Counselling Seat Matrix.
