MGU CAT 2021 Examination Postponed Until Further Notice
MG University officials have indefinitely postponed the MGU CAT 2021 examination, which was to take place on 12 and 13 August 2021.

Officials have cancelled the test until further notice, and new dates for the assessment are not yet available. In addition, the university has not provided a reason behind the postponement. Thus, candidates should regularly visit MG University’s official website, cat.mgu.ac.in, for updates regarding the MGU CAT.
Earlier, the MGU CAT application facility was available online from 31 May to 12 July 2021. Afterwards, officials released the MG University entrance examination admit cards on the official website on 31 July 2021. However, due to the cancellation of the assessment, candidates might have to obtain a new admit card for the rescheduled exams.
The MGU CAT is a university-level annual entrance examination overseen by MG University. The exam facilitates postgraduate admissions to various programmes offered by colleges affiliated with MGU. Although authorities have changed the exam schedule, the assessment pattern and other details will likely remain unchanged.
The examination will occur in an offline testing mode for a duration of 90 minutes. MGU CAT 2021 currently has eight official testing cities: Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Kozhikode, Kottayam, and Thiruvananthapuram. The exam board will offer the question paper only in English. In addition, there will be 80 objective multiple-choice questions in total, with one correct answer out of four options. However, certain subjects will feature descriptive questions. These include MA Malayalam, MA English, LLM, and Masters in Tourism Management.
