MHT CET 2021 Schedule Announced; Exam in September 2021

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has scheduled the MHT CET 2021 to occur in two rounds in September 2021. The delay in the formal release of the examination schedule had resulted in scepticism from candidates on social media. However, students can now check the examination dates on the official website. Phase one of the MHT CET will take place from 4 to 10 September 2021. Afterwards, phase 2 of the Maharashtra entrance examination will occur from 14 to 20 September.

The state’s Higher and Technical Education Minister, Uday Samant, revealed the examination schedule today, 5 August 2021. The minister commented on the exam’s schedule and venues during an official press conference. Additionally, Minister Samant asserted that officials would strictly adhere to the mandated safety guidelines. As quoted, “The Maharashtra CET 2021 will be conducted at designated exam centres. Last year, CET took place at nearly 175 exam centres, while this year, the number is 350. The authorities have ensured that students will follow adequate social distancing measures.”

Further details regarding the Maharashtra CET 2021 will be available shortly on the board’s official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Earlier, officials closed the entrance exam’s application window on 15 July. Hence, registered candidates will soon be able to access their examination hall tickets online.
