MHT CET Counselling 2022 Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Published: Direct Download Link

MHT CET Counselling 2022: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the round 1 seat allotment for admission to BE/B. Tech/M.Tech(Integrated) courses. The seat allotment will be based on the Final merit list that was published on Oct 12. Candidates who registered for the MHT CET Counselling 2022 can now check the 1st seat allotment result at the official website of the CET cell: cetcell.mahacet.org

Once the candidate checks the seat allotment result, they must decide whether they accept the alloted seat. They must then respond to the seat allotment between Oct 19 and 21. If they decide to freeze the allotted seat, they must report at the allotted institute by Oct 21.

MHT CET Counselling 2022 Seat Allotment Results: Steps to Check

Candidates must follow these steps to be able to check the MHT CET Counselling 2022 Seat Allotment Results:

• Visit the MHT CET 2022 BE/BTech Counselling official website: fe2022.mahacet.org.
• Then under the ‘Login Links’ click on the 'Registered Candidate Login' tab
• Now the candidate must enter the Login credentials, i.e., the application number and password to log in.
• Once logged in on the candidate portal, candidates will be able to see  the MHT CET Counselling 2022 CAP round 1 seat allotment result.

Candidates must self-verify their result and accept the declaration and certify that their claim made by the candidate in the application form are correct and relevant documents uploaded to substantiate his/her claims are authentic and correct. However, if there is any discrepancy in the claims made by the candidate and they want to correct it, they must inform the authorities through the candidate login.

Options for Candidates After the MHT CET Counselling 2022 Seat Allotment Results

Now that the candidates have checked the MHT CET Counselling 2022 Round 1 seat allotment result, those who have been allotted a seat will have to respond to the seat allotment result.

If the candidate has been allotted their first preference seat (auto-freeze), they can proceed to the next stages of the counselling process by paying the seat acceptance fee of INR 1000(Non-refundable processing fee). 

Moreover, if the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotment (which was not their first preference), they may choose to freeze the allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fees. 

Once the seat acceptance fee has been paid, they must report to the allotted institute and confirm admission before the deadline. While reporting, they must carry all the necessary original documents for verification and also pay the balance fees at the institute.

Candidates must note, if the status of their allotted seat is ‘Auto-freeze’ or if the candidate has chosen to ‘freeze’ the seat, they will not be considered for subsequent rounds of MHT CET Counselling 2022.

In case the candidate is unsatisfied with the seat allotment and wants to participate in the next rounds of MHT CET Counselling 2022, they can choose the 'Not Freeze' option. However, they too must pay the seat acceptance fee. The Provisional Allotment of CAP Round-II is scheduled to be displayed on Oct 28.
