MHT CET Merit List 2022: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will most likely release the final MHT CET 2022 merit list online today. Once published, candidates can access the final merit list through the official website using their application ID and date of birth. Earlier, the State Cell released the provisional merit list for MHT CET 2022 on October 7. Essentially, the MHT CET Merit List 2022 is based on the entrance test marks. Authorities further take advantage of the tie-breaking rule if two or more examinees score the same marks in the MHT CET Exam.

The final merit list for MHT CET 2022 is only released after reviewing the candidates' grievances submitted post the release of the provisional MHT CET 2022 merit list.

Tie-breaking Model - MHT CET 2022 Merit List

Authorities at the State Common Entrance Cell have formulated rules in case any tie-breaking situation arises. Therefore, candidates who have scored similar marks as another examinee can check out the regulations below.

• If a tie arises, the candidate with higher marks in mathematics in MHT CET 2022 will be awarded the higher rank.
• If the tie still exists, authorities will present candidates with higher marks in the physics section of the MHT CET entrance test with a higher rank in the MHT CET Merit List 2022.
• Further persistence of a tie will lead to the rank presentation to the candidate with higher marks in the Chemistry section.
• However, a continuation of a tie will lead to the authorities considering the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in their board exams or qualifying examination for physics, mathematics and chemistry. 
• If a tie still occurs, authorities will present the higher rank to the candidate with higher marks in physics in 10+2 or equivalent. 
• Lastly, if a tie still exists, authorities will give weightage to the higher chemistry marks in 10+2.

After the MHT CET Merit List 2022, qualifying candidates will proceed toward the MHT CET 2022 counselling rounds.
