Ministry of Education Extends NMMSS Scholarship Registration 2022 Deadline Till Nov 15

NMMSS Scholarship Registration 2022: Per the latest notification, the Ministry of Education has postponed the deadline for the NMMSS registration 2022 Scholarship till Nov 15, 2022. Interested applicants who qualify for the eligibility criteria can apply for NMMSS scholarship registration 2022 on the National Scholarship Portal. Further, the NMMSS scholarships 2022 are disbursed directly into the bank accounts of selected students by electronic transfer. The transfer is made through the PFMS following the DBT mode. Note that NMMSS is a 100 per cent centrally sponsored scheme.

How To Apply For NMMSS Scholarship Registration 2022?

Follow the steps given below to register for the NMMSS application form 2022.

1. First, visit the official website of NMMSS. 
2. Once on the homepage, tap on the "NMMSS scholarship registration 2022" link.
3. Next, insert the required details and upload the documents in the prescribed format.
4. Last, submit the form and download the scholarship application for future reference.

Under the NMMSS scholarship registration 2022, about one lakh new scholarships are awarded to selected students from Class 9 per year. Moreover, the continuation of students or renewal in Classes 10 to 12 for studying in state government, government-aided and local body schools will also be included. Significantly, the scholarship amount is Rs 12,000 per annum for each student. Furthermore, there are two levels of verification, L1 is Institute Nodal Officer (INO) Level, and L2 is District Nodal Officer (DNO) level. The deadline for INO level (L1) verification is Nov 30, 2022, and DNO level (L2) verification is Dec 15, 2022.
