NEET PG Cutoff 2022: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has granted the approvals to reduce the cutoff percentile for NEET PG 2022 by 25 percentile. Authorities took the call after several seats were still vacant in last year's NEET PG counselling. In turn, NMC made suggestions to revise the cutoff percentile so that the chances to fill these seats up increase. The cutoff percentile has now been decreased across all categories. All supporting bodies appreciated the move and considered it an excellent measure to deal with the situation.
Although, yesterday, MCC declared that they would remove NEET PG seats from five medical colleges. Additionally, they have added 176 new PG seats into the round 2 NEET PG counselling matrix. The Lok Sabha, too, was aware of the vacant seats despite five plus counselling rounds held by NEET PG. Therefore, the reduction of the NEET PG cutoff 2022 has been a somewhat proactive initiative by the MCC.
