NEET UG 2021 Special Stray Vacancy Round to Be Conducted Online

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2021 special stray vacancy round. MCC will conduct the round to fill up about 323 MBBS vacant seats in an online mode to prevent the seats of all India quota, central universities, central institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER from going to waste. According to a notice from MCC, an online stray vacancy round was conducted for the NEET 2021 UG counselling, which resulted in 325 vacant seats. Candidates can check the details of the vacant seats at the MCC official website – www.mcc.nic.in.

Also, MCC will not conduct any fresh registrations for the NEET UG counselling special stray vacancy round. Applicants who have pre-registered and are not holding any seats can participate in the NEET UG counselling special stray vacancy round. However, candidates will have to do fresh choice filling for a special stray vacancy round. The committee also informed that all registered candidates have to pay a security deposit of INR 50000 for participating in the special stray vacancy round irrespective of their category. This security deposit is refundable. However, candidates who do not join the seats in the NEET 2021 UG counselling special stray vacancy round will lose their security deposit as the MCC will forfeit it.
