NEET UG 2022 Official Notification Soon: Check Tentative Dates Here

As per the latest media reports, registrations for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG will begin on 2 April 2022, and the exam will be held on 17 July. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the notification on its official website neet.nta.nic.in today.

Furthermore, according to the report, NEET-UG registrations will close on 7 May. Thus, interested students must register themselves before the last date. The application correction window will be open for five days in mid-May. 

Additionally, NTA decided on the exam date after consultation with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Ministry of Health. 

Candidates must also know that the National Medical Commission (NMC) has scrapped the upper age limit for NEET-UG medical aspirants. Earlier the age limit was 25 years for unreserved candidates and 30 years for reserved candidates.

The NEET question paper consists of 180 multiple choice questions divided into three subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 

Furthermore, each subject is divided into two sections in which section A consists of 35 questions, and section B consists of 15 questions, out of which students will have to attempt only 10 questions. 

Over 15 lakh candidates apply for the NEET exam every year to become doctors. Last year, the NEET exam was conducted pen-and-paper for admission to 90,825 MBBS, 27,948 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc, and AH seats 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER.
