NEET UG Counselling 2022: The MCC will close the window for choice filling in NEET UG 2022 Counselling today and candidates will be able to lock their choices from 5 PM today till 8 AM tomorrow, Oct 19. Candidates will be able to lock their choices from 5 PM today to 8 AM tomorrow, after which they will be auto-locked. The MCC announced the extension of the choice filling and loacking deadlines in a notice released on Oct 17. Registered candidates can fill and lock the choices for NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 1 at the official website: mcc.ac.in
The verification process for candidates applying for the internal quota by the respective institutions/universities is scheduled on Oct 17 and 18. Further, the round 2 seat allotment result will be processed on Oct 19 and 21. The provisional seat allotment result will be released on Oct 19, and candidates will have to raise objections, if any, by Oct 21. Afterwards, the NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 1 final seat allotment result will be published on Oct 21.

NEET UG Counselling 2022: How to Perform Choice Filling and Locking?
The below-mentioned steps will guide candidates to complete filling out and locking the choices in NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 1:
- Visit the official website of the MCC: mcc.nic.in
- Then click on the 'UG Medical Counselling' tab to go to the 'Online NEET - UG Medical Counselling' page.
- Sign in using the candidate's login credentials.
- Once logged in, Candidates can find the choice-filling portal
- Fill out the choice filling form with the maximum number of choices in order of decreasing preferences
- When the choices and their preferences have been finalized, lock the choices.
- Finally, download and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
NEET UG counselling is being conducted for 100% of seats in the deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, JIPMER, and BSc Nursing and 15% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges. The counselling process will have four rounds: Rounds 1 & 2, Mop-up and Stray Vacancy Round.
