NEET UG Counselling 2022: Provisional Seat Allotment Result for Round 1 Tentatively Releasing Today

NEET UG Counselling 2022: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the provisional seat allotment result for NEET UG 2022 Counselling Round 1 today. Candidates have the oppurtunity to self-verify the provisional allotment result and report any discrepancies to the officials for rectification. Once released, the NEET UG Counselling 2022 provisional seat allotment will be available on the official website.

It is important to note that candidates do not have a claim over the seat allotted in the provisional allotment. Once all the grievances recieved are considered and rectified, the MCC will release the NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 1 final seat allotment result on Oct 21.

After the release of the final allotment list, candidates who have been allotted a seat can proceed to the reporting phase. They will have to accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee (as applicable), download the seat allotment letter and report at the allotted institute between Oct 22 and 28. Once Round 1 of counselling concludes, registration for Round 2 will commence on Nov 2. 

Steps to Access the NEET UG Counselling 2022 Provisional Seat Allotment Result

Given below are the steps candidates must take to be able to access the NEET UG Counselling 2022 Provisional Seat Allotment Result:

• First, go to the MCC official website: mcc.ac.in
• Open the 'UG Medical Counselling' tab 
• Once on the 'Online NEET - UG Medical Counselling' page, locate the 'PROVISIONAL RESULT FOR ROUND 1 MBBS/BDS' link 
• Click on the link.
• Enter the candidate's NEET UG 2022 credentials on the open page and log in.
• After that, the candidate can check the Provisional Seat Allotment Result.

On Oct 17 and 18, the MCC released 2 notifications regarding the addition of a total of 439 MBBS seats to the NEET UG 2022 seat matrix. Additionally, the MCC had reponed the registration and extended the deadline for the choice-filling process and choice locking.
