NEET UG Counselling 2022: Resignation Window for Round 1 Open Till 3 PM Today at mcc.nic.in

NEET UG Counselling 2022: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has decided to open resignations from the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET UG counselling 2022) counselling 2022 round 2 till today, Nov 12, 2022. Aspirants can resign from round 1 of NEET UG counselling on mcc.nic.in.

"Any letter other than a resignation generated through the online portal will not be considered a 'Resignation Letter'. In case the candidate is resigning by sending an email to the college, they should make sure that they receive a Resignation Letter generated through the online portal of MCC." stated MCC's official notice regarding NEET UG counselling 2022.

After this, the candidates will be considered as part of round 2 of the counselling by default and will have the same rules applied to them as applicable for round 2 under normal circumstances. MCC has advised candidates to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online via the portal provided by MCC by their allotted college. Failing to do so will attempt to resign null and void and make them part of round 2.

The MCC notification further read, "Round-1 joined candidates who neither participate in Round-2 nor resign the seat of Round-1 will be considered part of Round-2 after the stipulated time. Hence, candidates who desire to resign their seat of Round-1 should do so by 03:00 PM of Nov 12, 2022, before Round-2 commences."
