NEET UG Counselling 2023 Round 3: MCC Invites Application for NRI Conversion

NEET UG Counselling 2023 Round 3: MCC has announced an official notification for candidates willing to convert their Nationality from Indian to NRI. The notice states that candidates willing to change their nationality must submit the application form through mail between Aug 28 - 29, within 5 PM. The applicants must submit the form before the deadline. 

Furthermore, MCC states that candidates must attach supporting documents along with the application form and mail them to ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com.

List of Documents for Conversion Nationality to NRI Category

Candidates are advised to attach the following documents along with the application form. 

1. Document claiming that candidate is an NRI (Passport, Visa)
2. Affidavit from the candidate that they will sponsor the complete course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
3. Relationship of NRI with the applicant
4. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer 
5. Candidates NEET mark sheet.

Factors to Consider Before Applying for Nationality Converision

Candidates must consider some factors before submitting the conversion nationality application form.

1. Only NEET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for Nationality Conversion.
2. After the Nationality Conversion, the candidate will be considered NRI throughout the NEET UG counselling process 2023.
3. After the Nationality conversion, the candidate is not eligible to claim under any minority category.

In case MCC rejects the documents, then the candidature will be cancelled. In such cases, candidates can resign the NEET UG counselling round 2 seats by Aug 31.
