NID DAT 2022: M.Des Mains Exam to Be Held Tomorrow

The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the NID DAT Mains 2022 exam tomorrow, June 6. Due to the pandemic, the NID DAT Mains exam will take place in hybrid style. Candidates who plan to take the NID DAT Mains exam must check all the instructions that will be followed throughout the exam.

The studio test for the M.Des programme will be conducted in an offline mode at NID campuses. In the meantime, the interview will be done in online mode. The National Institute of Design (NID) released its admit card for MDes programmes on April 29. The NID DAT mains admit card for the studio test has been released based on the candidate’s preferences.

NID DAT Mains 2022: Important Instructions

Candidates must check the below instructions set by the authority to avoid any confusion during the exam.

1. Candidates must take the studio test and an online personal interview in order to be included in the NID DAT 2022 final merit list.
2. There will be no rescheduling of the NID DAT studio test.
3. If a candidate fails to appear in the online interview round, an admit card for the studio test will not be generated.
4. During NID DAT studio test, candidates must bring a hard copy of their NID DAT admit card as well as one valid photo ID.
5. Taking the NID DAT mains exam does not guarantee admission.

The NID DAT is a national level entrance exam that takes place in order to shortlist candidates for admission to UG and PG courses. To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) programmes offered at its campuses, candidates must pass the NID prelims and mains exams.
