NIFT Counselling 2022 Spot Round Registration Started, Seat Matrix Out

NIFT Counselling 2022: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) started the online registration process for the spot round of NIFT 2022 counselling on 21 July at nift.ac.in. Eligible candidates will have to register for the spot round latest by 24 July. The institute has also released the program-wise vacant seats for the participating institutes that will be filled during the Spot Round.

The counselling process for NIFT 2022 is being conducted in an online mode for admission to the UG and PG design courses offered by the 17 participating NIFTs. For the current academic session, a total of six online allotment rounds have been conducted, not including the Spot Round. The 6th round of allotment was announced on 18 July.

Steps to Register for NIFT Counselling 2022 Spot Round

It is recommended to fill in as many choices as possible to optimize one’s chances of admission. Also, candidates must check the eligibility criteria before they proceed to fill out the NIFT Counselling 2022 form.

1. Visit the official website – nift.ac.in
2. Then, log in to the portal using candidate log-in details.
3. Fill in your choice of participating institute and academic program. Entries should be in the order of priority.
4. Finally, submit the form.

Seat Allotment, Acceptance, and Withdrawal

The allotment of seats will be announced in the last week of July by considering the NIFT 2022 merit rank of the candidate and choices opted for admission. Those allotted seats will have to deposit the fee and confirm their seats. The Spot Round is the final round of seat allotment, so candidates will not be allowed the option to withdraw their seats. If the candidates withdraw after the Spot Round, the fees deposited will not be refunded.
