Odisha State Scholarship Application Deadline Extended Until 20 May

The Odisha higher education department has extended the last date to apply for the Odisha state scholarship e-Medhabruti scholarship and the Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti scholarship 2021-22 for all categories to 20 May 2022. Officials have extended the deadline for online validation by the heads of institutes or principals to 31 May. Candidates can apply for these scholarships on the scholarship portal of Odisha at scholarship.odisha.gov.in.

The official tweet from Odisha’s DHE read: “The dateline for online application and validation for all categories of ‘e-Medhabruti’ & ‘Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti’ scholarship for the year 2021-22 has been extended as detailed below: Extended last date of Online Application for students – 20.05.2022. Extended last date of online validation by concerned Heads of Institutes/Principals-31.05.2022,”

The e-Medhabruti scholarship by the Odisha government is for students who are pursuing their undergraduate, postgraduate, technical, and professional courses. Residents of Odisha whose parents’ income is not more than INR 6 lakh per annum will receive financial aid. Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti scholarship is for students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in the Odia language. Students who score more than 90 percent in Odia language with a bachelor’s degree are eligible for this scholarship and can apply on scholarship.odisha.gov.in.
