SEBA HSLC Special Examination Applications Open on 5 August

The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has announced that the HSLC special examinations 2021 will occur shortly. In addition, the registration window for the in-person class 10 special board exams will be available online from 5 August 2021. Afterwards, candidates can apply for optional class 10 improvement assessments up to 12 August on the official website sebaonline.org. The special examinations aim to improve the results of dissatisfied students. Earlier, the SEBA HSLC board results were based on alternate evaluation criteria in place of the cancelled exams.

Interested students must write all six papers during the SEBA special assessments. In addition, testing scores will improve the theory section of results. However, the internal evaluation and practical score sections will not change through the results of the improvement examinations. Afterwards, the board will distribute revised mark sheets to candidates. SEBA officials have also formed a grievance redressal committee for students with doubts and complaints regarding their results. Thus, students can approach the panel with grievances either online or through their respective school authorities.

Last month, the SEBA board published the HSLC 2021 scores online. In addition, officials released the Assam High Madrasa (AHM) results. Currently, provisional digital mark sheets are available on the official websites. However, officials will soon release a notification regarding the physical scorecard distribution procedure. According to officials, the board will delete and replace the digital mark sheets for special assessment candidates once the exams are graded. Also, grades on the new scorecards will be final. The board has advised students to continue checking the official website for further updates regarding improvement exams.
