Secondary Education Board, Assam Revises the Exam Pattern for HSLC Examinations
Secondary Education board, Assam has released the revised HSLC Exam Pattern. The Assam HSLC new syllabus 2022 was released on the official website.
Assam HSLC Exam Pattern 2022: Board of Secondary Education (SEBA), Assam has released the revised exam pattern for class 10. The revision of exam pattern is due to the New Education Policy (NEP). Students preparing for the Assam HSLC exam 2023 must check the change in pattern.
The Change in exam pattern is to make education more qualitative than quantitative as stated by the RC Jain, Chairman of SEBA, Assam. As per the announcement, the exam pattern for four subjects i.e. General Science, Maths, Social Science and English will get reform. These subjects will have 45 objective-type questions only in the question paper of 100 Marks.
In details, the HSLC question paper will contain a total of 90 marks question and remaining 10 marks will be given for Internal assessments. The remaining 90 questions, 50% i.e. 45 questions will be objective type questions carrying one marks each. And the other 45 questions will be 2 and 3 marks questions. The former pattern of having long questions of 4-5 marks will drop.
Students have been complaining from a long time now regarding the outdated exam pattern by SEBA. Students have been claiming that the former pattern does not help them to focus on entrance exams. Meanwhile, Education boards such as CBSE and ICSE have been preparing their students in all aspects. Now, this change in the format of marking and questions will help students cope up with the present competitive environment.
