SSC Stenographer 2022 Notification Issued – Exam to Be Held in November 2022
SSC has released the Stenographer 2022 Exam Notification on 20 August. Last Date to Apply is 5 September.
SSC Stenographer 2022 Notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had notified about the SSC Stenographer 2022 Exam on 20 August. SSC Stenographer is an open competitive, computer-based exam for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C) for various ministries/departments/organizations in the government of India.

Application Fee
Candidates can pay the Fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Online payment can be made till 11 PM on 6 September.

Steps to Apply for SSC Stenographer 2022 Exam
Aspirants must have a SSC registration number and password to be able to apply. If they do not have it, they must first perform the one-time registration by clicking on the ‘Register Now’ link on the SSC Website. The registration number and password will be received by the end of filling out the registration form.
To fill out the online application for SSC Stenographer 2022 Exam, follow these steps:
- First, log in on the SSC Website using the candidate’s registration number and password
- Then click on the “Apply” link in the “Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2022.”
- Section displayed under the “Latest Notifications” tab
- To be able to proceed with the application, the candidate should confirm that they have knowledge of Stenography.
- Fill out the preferences for exam centres.
- In the following steps, fill out the necessary details wherever applicable.
- Now select the medium of skill set, i.e., English or Hindi
- Then select the post the candidate is applying for: Grade ‘C’ or ‘D’ or both
- In case the candidate is seeking age relaxation, provide the necessary details
- Next, fill out the educational qualification details
- Then upload the candidate’s photograph and Signature
- Make the fee payment(If not exempted)
- Finally, download and take the printout of the registration form that has been provisionally accepted.
SSC Stenographer 2022 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for age and educational qualification mentioned in the SSC Stenographer 2022 Notification are given below.
Age Limit
Stenographer Grade C: 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2022, i.e., candidates born not before 02.01.1992 and not later than 01.01.2004 are eligible to apply.
Stenographer Grade D: 18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2022, i.e., Candidates born not before 02.01.1995 and not later than 01.01.2004 are eligible to apply.
However, there is permissible relaxation in age limit for candidates belonging to specific categories. To know more about the age limit relaxation, refer to the notification.
Educational Qualification
The minimum requirement is to have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
