Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2023: Directorate of Government Examinations has announced the Tamil Nadu HSC result 2023 today, May 8, 2023. Candidates who have attempted the exam must check and download the Tamil Nadu 12th result 2023 from the official website using their login credentials, registration number and date of birth. 

Students must remember that the qualifying score for the students is 35 marks per subject out of a total of 100 marks. If a student scores 15 marks out of 70 marks in theory and 35 marks in total they would be considered a pass.

Steps to Download the Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2023

Candidates must follow the step-by-step procedure below to download the Tamil Nadu 12th result 2023.

1. First, visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Board. 
2. Once on the homepage, click on the link that reads, "Tamil Nadu HSC result 2023."
3. After that, enter the student’s registration number and date of birth.
4. Then, click on ‘ Get Marks’ to check the TN 12th Result 2023.
5. Next, the TN plus two result 2023 will appear on the candidate's screen. 
6. Finally, save and download the TN plus two result 2023 and take a hard copy for future reference.

Note that there are no criteria for minimum passing marks for the practicals, appearing for the test is considered to be enough. Moreover, for the Languages and Subjects that do not have practicals, the candidates must secure a minimum of 25 marks out of 90.

Additionally, for the vocational subjects that consist of practicals only the students must secure a minimum of 20 marks out of 75. Also, the students who are dissatisfied with their Tamil Nadu 12th result 2023 can apply for revaluation. However, recounting the scores does not guarantee a better result for the candidates.
