Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu, will close the window to register for TN NEET counselling 2022 today, Oct 3, 2022. The window to register for the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022 was opened on Sep 22. Candidates who wish to apply for government and management quota medical seats in Tamil Nadu can apply on the official website: tnmedicalselection.net or tnhealth.tn.gov.in.
To participate in the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022, candidates must fill out the online application form and pay the application fee of INR 500. Those who belong to the special category will have ot pay an additional fee of Rs 100. All SC, SC (Arunthathiyar), and ST category candidates from Tamil Nadu are not required to pay the application fees.

Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022
Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below before applying for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022:
- Candidates should be Tamil Nadu natives. Those who belong to other states but reside in Tamil Nadu cannot claim nativity. Moreover, candidates who appeared for NEET UG – 2022 as a native of another state cannot apply as a native of Tamil Nadu.
- Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50th percentile in NEET to MBBS, BDS courses held for this academic year.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates having minimum marks of 40th percentile are eligible to apply.
- For MBBS & BDS Courses, candidates must have passed and scored a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, biology, and bio-technology combined at the qualifying examination.
- Open School or private candidates are not eligible to apply.
Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022 Participating Colleges
The following are the medical colleges that have MBBS and BDS seats to be filled by candidates from the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022:
- Tamil Nadu government medical and dental colleges
- Government seats in self-financing medical, and dental colleges
- Government seats in ESIC Medical College and PGIMSR
- Christian Medical College, Vellore(30% seats for government quota and 20% seats for Christian Tamil Nadu natives)
