TS EAMCET 2022: Only 70% Intermediate Syllabus to Be Considered
TSCHE will organise the TS EAMCET 2022 with only 70% course curriculum for both first and second year intermediate, the report says.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will organise the TS EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test) 2022 with only 70% course curriculum for both first and second-year intermediate classes, the report says.
The committee has taken the judgement as a satisfactory number of offline classes were not conducted in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the information conveyed. The committee held a conference on 8 March 2022.
Last year, TSCHE decreased the second-year intermediate syllabus by 30%. Whereas for first-year intermediate, the syllabus was 100%. This was due to online classes with the onset of the pandemic.
Further, the report said the committee was likely to determine the compensation on the eligibility of minimum marks in intermediate. Last year, the committee declared a compensation of 45% marks. However, it was only relevant for the year 2021. At present, only 45% aggregate marks are required to be declared pass, it added.
Further, the committee was to determine weightage for allocating ranks to learners. Last year, the committee had discarded this criterion. Presently, 75% criteria is applicable to the entrance exams and 25% weightage to intermediate results to allocate ranks.
TSCHE will soon make the TS EAMCET 2022 website active. Contenders can then access the information associated with the Telangana EAMCET 2022 exam online.
