Bareilly University successfully concluded the UP B.Ed JEE exam on 6 July 2022 as a pen and paper-based test. UP B.Ed JEE exam consisted of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 has two parts, i.e., Part A – General Knowledge (Compulsory) and Part B – Language (Hindi/English). Paper 2 also has two parts, i.e., Part A – General Aptitude and Part B – Subject Ability.

UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Paper 1 Analysis

Paper 1 was divided into two subsections- General Knowledge and Language (English/ Hindi). Authorities will mark Paper 1 out of a total of 200 marks as each sub-section consists of 50 questions for 100 marks (2 marks per question). Negative marking for UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Paper 1 is applicable; under it, a third of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer marked. Paper 1 is carried out for a duration of 2 hours.

UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Paper 2 Analysis

Paper 2 was also divided into two sections. Section A was of General Aptitude Test, which is common for all. In comparison, Section B was subject-specific (Arts, Agriculture, Science, and Commerce) and differed according to the stream chosen by the candidates while filling out the application form.

Each section of paper 2 was for 100 marks, with 50 questions in each subsection. Hence, Paper 2 was held for 200 marks in total. ⅓ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Paper 2 Students’ Reaction

According to the candidates who attended the Paper 2 of UP B.Ed JEE, the exam was easy to attempt as they could attend most of the questions. The reasoning section was considered easy by the candidates as they could answer most of the questions. Candidates attempted around 45 to 47 questions in the Reasoning section. No questions were asked from Puzzles and Data Interpretation.
Mathematics was considered as difficult by the candidates.
Economics questions were asked more in the Arts section.
