The commission has announced that it expects to fill around 1105 vacancies through the examination. The UPSC Civil Service Application 2023 window will be open from Feb 1 to Feb 21. The UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Examination 2023 will be conducted on May 28.

UPSC Civil Services Vacancy 2023: How to Apply?
Given below are the steps to apply for the UPSC Civil Services Vacancy 2023:

- Under the What's new section on the homepage, locate and click on the 'Examination Notification: Civil Service (Preliminary), 2023' link.
- On the next page, click on the link to apply.
- Proceed to complete the registration process by filling out the necessary details.
- Then log in and proceed with the remaining application process.
- Fill out the application form, upload the required documentation, and pay the application fee(As applicable)
- Then, read the declaration form carefully and tick the declaration box.
- Following this, the candidate's UPSC CSE 2023 Registration number will appear on the screen.
- Note down the registration number.
- Print the application form and save it for future use.
The candidates will be selected for the various posts based on their performance in the preliminary, mains, and interview round.
