UPSC GEO Scientist 2023 Exam Dates for Prelims Out at upsc.gov.in: Check Details

UPSC GEO Scientist 2023 Exam Dates: The Union Public Service Commission has published the UPSC GEO scientist 2023 prelims exam dates. Therefore, candidates can avail of the schedule from the official website. The prelims exam will take place on Feb 19, 2023, in two shifts, morning and evening, for examinees, as per the UPSC GEO Scientist 2023 Exam Dates. The morning session will be from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM for Paper I - General Studies. At the same time, Paper II (stream-specific subject) will be from 2 PM to 4 PM. 

Subsequently, the stream-specific papers for the evening session exam will be conducted for Geologist and Scientist B candidates. They will appear in Geology or Hydrogeology papers. Further, Geophysicists and Scientist B candidates will take the exam for Geophysics. Similarly, Chemist and Scientist B candidates will appear for the Chemistry exam.

Apart from the UPSC GEO Scientist 2023 Exam Dates, authorities have also announced the number of vacancies they aim to fill. Several positions such as Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Scientist B posts are open for eligible candidates. A total of 285 posts are waiting to be filled up in various ministries and departments of the Central government.

Per the official UPSC GEO Scientist 2023 Exam Dates, the prelims exam admit card will be released three weeks before the exam date, which is on Feb 19, 2023. Furthermore, qualifying candidates will appear for the mains exam. Next, selected candidates will proceed towards stage 3 of the UPSC 2023 recruitment process. Wherein they must participate in the interview and personality test.
