WBJEEB, or the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, has released the examination date for the WB JELET 2022. The upcoming West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry will take place on 14 May 2022. Board officials will conduct the eligibility test in an offline pen and paper-based testing mode at exam centres across the state. Furthermore, representatives have also released a tentative date for the WB JELET 2022 registration facility. Thus, application forms for the exam will be available entirely online from the last week of January 2022. The registration process will include steps such as form filling, document uploading, fee payment, and confirmation. The board has advised interested aspirants to first check their eligibility status for the assessment prior to registration. Applicants must have obtained a minimum CGPA percentage of 45% (or 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates) to qualify to write the exam.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts the state-level exam annually for affiliated colleges across the state. Candidates can obtain year 2 (semester 3) admissions into four-year undergraduate engineering, technology, and pharmacy courses. The assessment will consist of 100 objective multiple-choice questions for a duration of two hours.
