WBCS Prelims 2023 Scheduled for Nov 5 Postponed Again: Details Available at wbpsc.gov.in

WBCS Prelims 2023: The West Bengal Public Service Commission authorities have postponed the WBCS 2023 Prelims. Therefore, interested candidates must keep visiting the official website to stay updated about the WBCS prelims 2023. 

Initially, the WBCS prelim exam 2023 was scheduled to be conducted in June 2023. Later, the Kolkata and West Bengal based exam was revised to Nov 5, 2023. Further, the authorities have postponed the WBCS Prelims 2023 again.

WBCS Prelims 2023: Exam Pattern

Students must refer to the information below for details about the WBCS Prelims 2023.

• The WBCS exam is divided into two parts: Written Examination and Personality Test.
• Further, the written examination will be conducted in two successive stages such as the Preliminary Examination which would consist of objective MCQ-type questions for 200 marks.
• Furthermore, the main examination will consist of both, MCQ and conventional-type questions.

The official notification released by the authorities states, "Due to unavoidable circumstances the Commission has decided to postpone the West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) etc. (Preliminary) Examination, 2023 which was tentatively scheduled to be held on 05/11/2023(Sunday)."

For the Nov 5, 2023 exam, the WBCS Prelims 2023 admit card would have been released in October. However, since the exam date is not finalized yet, the admit card date cannot be specified.
