West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) officials will commence the 2021 WBJEE tomorrow, 17 July 2021. The entrance examination will be conducted offline as a pen and paper-based exam mode. Hence, registered students must report to their testing centre to write the examination.
According to the WBJEE 2021 examination pattern, the test will feature two separate papers. Firstly, paper 1 is on mathematics, and paper two will include both physics and chemistry. To qualify for admission into B.Tech courses offered by affiliated institutions, candidates must write both papers. However, pharmacy programme aspirants only need to write paper 2.
The WBJEEB board conducts their entrance examination annually to facilitate admissions to B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses within the state. As of 2021, 90 universities within West Bengal accept scores from the WBJEE assessment for admissions.
WBJEE 2021 Examination Day Guidelines
The 2021 WBJEE examination begins tomorrow, 16 July 2021. Hence, the university has advised candidates to go through the mandated exam day guidelines before the assessment. Henceforth, candidates should be present at the testing location at least one hour before the scheduled start of the exam.
Additionally, students should have their WBJEE 2021 admit card and valid identity proof on hand. Proof of identity can include the candidate’s Aadhar card, PAN card, passport, voter card, etc. Moreover, students should bring a physical copy of the scanned photograph from the registration process to the testing location. The photograph should be in colour and passport-sized.
Electronic items such as mobile phones or wristwatches are strictly prohibited. In addition, candidates must mark answers on the OMR sheet with a blue or black pen. Students who breach the guidelines could disqualify from the exam or face additional consequences.
