WBJEE 2023 Result Releasing Today at 4 PM: Check WBJEE Marking Scheme, Tie-Breaking Method

WBJEE 2023 Result: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examintation Board (WBJEEB) has announced the WBJEE Result Date 2023. The body will release the WBJEE Result 2023 at 4 PM today, May 26. Additionally the WBJEE Final Answer Key 2023 was released yesterday. The WBJEE 2023 Result will be released at the official website: wbjeeb.nic.in
The WBJEE Exam 2023 was conducted on Apr 30. The result will be released in the form of a rank card. The candidates who score more than the cutoffs will be eligible to participate in the WBJEE Counselling 2023.

WBJEE 2023 Result : Marking Scheme
The WBJEE 2023 Result will be prepared based on the marking scheme mentioned in the exam brochure. The WBJEE marking scheme 2023 is given in the table below:

WBJEE Result 2023 - Tie Breaking Procedure
If two or more candidates have scored the same marks in WBJEE 2023 result, the allotment of ranks to those candidates will be based on the following tie-breaking procedure:
- Less negative marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry taken together.
- More positive marks in Mathematics and Physics taken together.
- More positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together.
- Less negative marks in Mathematics and Physics taken together.
- Less negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together.
- More positive marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions
- More positive marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions
- More positive marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions
- Less negative marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions
- Less negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions
In case after all the application of all the tie breaking criteria given above, the ties still remain, the tie will be broken by using the DoB, wherein the older candidate will be given the higher rank. If the tie still persists, it will be decided by the application number in ascending order.
