Each student participating receives a certificate in addition to a student report. A subject-wise certificate will be available for School and Subject Coordinators. The percentages allocated for awards are approximate and will vary depending on the number of students taking each test and how their scores are distributed.
Awards and recognition are a big motivator for students and parents equally when children appear for an Olympiad. This is even bigger when the Olympiad is conducted and ranks you internationally.
-
Being an international Olympiad conducted over 20 countries including Australia, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Africa, recognition from ICAS can help students improve their profile.
-
One example of this is the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Point. Though not available in India, medal-winning students in higher secondary schools also qualify to earn a bonus Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Point which can be used towards most undergraduate degree programs at the University of New South Wales.
The following table shows how awards are distributed to students according to the percentile they are ranked in.

There is also an award called the principal’s award which can be awarded to students by the principal of the school to recognize their improvement/progress which might otherwise not be recognized.
The awarding of this certificate is entirely at the discretion of their school.
