In WBJEE the GMR stands for general merit rank and the TFW rank stands for Tuition fee waiver scheme. If a candidate has good GMR then he or she is eligible to be granted under the TFW scheme. Candidates with good GMR have a high probability of getting admission to the TFW quota.
