Yes, I've done a non-profit organization's internship called VOICE 4 GIRLS. I received a stipend amount of ₹6300 with a certificate. There are great companies who visit our campus like Deloitte, ADP, HDFC bank, J.P MORGAN and many other.
There are 2 separate hostels for boys and girls. Loyola hostels are convenient and safe. There is a mess and also there is a cafeteria in the college premises, where prices are almost same as outside. Each classroom is well designed and has a projector for the presentations. There are a number of laboratories and we have 2 huge libraries, one for UG students and the other for PG students.
Loyola has interview process during admissions. In the year 2020, due to covid, I had my interview in online mode.
College timings are from 8:30 A.M to 1:50 P.M. Each period consists of 50 minutes. We have assignments, mids, viva, computer-based test, etc. frequently which is calculated for the internal marks. In the final semester, all the students are asked to make a project which has marks. The quality of the teaching is good. Well-experienced and friendly teachers are there. The methods which they use while teaching is both digital and explanatiory method. Overall, I would say it is a friendly environment where we can gain knowledge and also have a lot of experience with the practical world. Loyola is never only about academics, it encourages every individual to reach their potential and also take part in extra curricular activities and events.
I'm in my final year of graduation and my fee is ₹67,400. There is a scholarship available every academic year to the students. Very few of them get scholarships applied from each class.
We have different type of student clubs like Rotract, clubs of singing, dancing, yoga, magic youth, etc. Loyola celebrates Christmas, Independence day, Republic Day and feasts with events. Also, not forgetting the college day, which is a blast.
